Crazy Horses 02:25
Crazy Horses Will you give a horse a might? And dress is neck a mane Will you make a noise with him as locust? His glory’s snore a dread Will dig in the valley And rejoice with power Will come out in front of a weapon And laugh at fear. And won’t feel terror And won’t be startled because of a sword On him the quiver will jubilate A spear and dagger’s blade With noise and anger will sip the land And won’t believe it’s ram’s horn blow From far will smell a war Leader’s thunder and a blare.

Valley of no Return Three riders on the black core of night Closing in on some dangerous places from where is no escape One look can never tell the leader who he is? “Three evil spirits” people would call them And they were wiser then all time. To enter the riddle, mysteries of time They chose to use the hardest lane In solving their problems - to write down a song, an aria to encircle the heart with joy. We choose to be different, to find our answers Never trying to look back to the harbor we left behind Our arms are between us, but the song is our weapon And a double guitar on the back of the third, still riding on. For a new adventure and a much tastier wine A double profit and a big name sign In front of Gods or Dragons and Lions They won’t change their mind this time A better place to dream our dreams To enter the valley and find what we looked for was worth it In search for the place where we’ll find our rest In time when the reasons for killing will be gone And sky will be clearer than ever… …for all the years that will remain. And I will be there and my friends that are with me We’re going to kick out a hell of a show ‘Cause no one believed in us, never… …for all the years that will remain. The mysteries of the Valley are calling us. The path that we went through, it led us to reason So don’t you be still, try to choose too your own way The root of our problems is lying inside of us, and a double guitar in the hands of the third still playing on. Windows of jail will be opened for her Wishing for the ones who dare Whole remembering is lost in years of war Whom no one wants to share. So hard we’ve been labored for the moment's arrival A higher experience of all can do or say Another dimension that asks for expression… …Drifting in the clarified air, …for all the years that will remain. There is no return from the choice what to be The Valley has only one entrance and no exit But, truly, the ones who got in never want to get out… …for all the years that will remain. The force of creation had finally reached out The point of giving us a new light worth living for In solving their problems - to write down a song an aria, to encircle the heart with joy. For all of the years that will remain The one with the double guitar He is still playing and riding on. Three riders are leaving our places, gonna drive their ships away. But they left me a one-word message that will lead me every day. No matter where I go and if it will be worse or will be fine. I’ll better be sitting and writing just another line.

Viking 03:34
Viking Tribes of sailors, warriors and failures Gathered under a banner of war behind their shields a side their ships Vikings to rule the land Conquer and smash and burn Tyrants with fearless hand Taller and tougher then all Looking for a new land; a new sand to touch their feet A new place where the sun sets in the west or in the east Vikings to rule the land Conquer and smash and burn Tyrants with fearless hand Taller and tougher then all Heading towards the sun; looking for a shore to land on Passing as quick as man is born to leave the world behind Some of them will surely die; some will, maybe, find another sign to say: ‘Your time has come to leave the life you lead so far’. Where are we going now? “We’re going down” Said the old man to himself “And the land will die”

One Step Beyond Dancer on the earth ground, would you like to be amused? No one here is happy and you’re dancing just the blues Oh, it couldn’t be different, can’t you see another way We must put up with the danger, living in a strangest way We all do try to break free; we think our way is the answer But isn’t it like cancer? Just growing into you I want to see the right side and is there any right side? Hey you there, the dancer, help me do to dance away Now I failed myself to be a happy man, you see Doubts that creeps into me, they destroy integrity Fly though I’m an earthman, and the sounds inside my ears Want to fly to everywhere, now I’m only staying here Breaking all the statements, it gives me not any pleasure Fighting in the usual way against what I believe is wrong Dancer won’t you please, please teach me how to dance Though dancing just the blues I feel as if I am One step beyond and you’re free Night, I want to fly to you, touch you only when I Dance above the clouds from where I’ll never see the Land and though I hear I can only see what’s in your eyes Night, I want to be with you and it's just one step beyond Come to me, come drifting, dance with me the dream of hope Now I found my answer though it’s mixed with suffering And she came from into the clouds above from where I could not see And now we’re flying the skyline fearless with our dance Dancer, now I see, you thought me how to move You make me free to see that after all we go One step beyond and your dead

Temples Of Light I have a dream, sometimes it makes me real, real mean And it never leaves my thoughts, and it always hurt my throat And I’m crying. If you should know what day today is, my old friend I’m sure you would have been all shocked And you would have been all scared a lot tonight. Night and night, the tears are turning to become More obscured, becomes imaginary sights It’s the fiction of a soul disturbed with fight Round and round we go, we’ll never see the light. Freezing inside a world with no hope, no delight I will cry into the night, I will be crawling to the light I’ll fight. From day to day my fight becomes a lonely prayer My friends had died and I’m all alone The trees I’ve planted had blown along the rise. Night and night, the tears are turning to become More obscured, becomes imaginary sights It’s the fiction of a soul disturbed with fight Round and round we go, we’ll never see the light. Since many years had passed away and my old dream became a scream Night is something you won’t find There ain’t no places you can hide from the light. Round and round we’ll go, we’ll never find release It’s the pain that comes before the dying ease Loud and loud the tears will fall to crash beneath It’s the ice age; it’s the light sage who comes near. Night and night, the tears are turning to become More obscured, becomes imaginary sights It’s the fiction of a soul disturbed with fight Round and round we go, we’ll never see the light.

Rattle The Snake Dancer of the oceans should break not the silence of the frost Meeting with the spirits of dawn beyond a sun who’ll never rise no more What’s the movement in the shade? What had sparkled over there? Can your eyes be so cold? And the rattle shakes once more Nightmare or illusion; the bleeding horror bursts into your blood A twin cut messenger to kill you inside the stream of life that brings the death To the temples of light Arrives the messenger of war And the light fades along Where the mind has left; the darkness rises hollow Nasty player of the creepy shire Killing dancer moves with elegance Whistling tongue of fear translates the death Nasty killer, holly dealer, knows the dance And when the end is coming Your crystal eyes ain’t shining Only cold You shiver to the breath of death The movement in the shade is gone and… …Now you leave down the earth Maybe somewhere else, maybe not any place Can it be you already know where you go? Can you see the other side? Nasty player of the creepy shire Killing dancer moves with elegance Whistling tongue of fear translates the death Nasty killer, holly dealer, knows the dance He knows the dance He knows the dance He knows the dance

Great King Rat In the morning of yesterday Great king rat had flown away Said there’s nothing to keep him here Couldn’t help it, he felt a bit weird. With the morning light Great king rat had flown away He’s been busy a long, long time Couldn’t see what he left behind Mother, nature, truth and trust Love, emotions, he did it fast. In the morning of yesterday Winds of change had passed my way Led me to my good old home Made me feel, a new man born Great king rat had flown away Home, sweet home were have you been Long, long time, it’s like a sin From my chair I looked around It was too much above the ground. Knew my way had reached a change Couldn’t live without no blame Missed the warmth of my old town Where I’ve been without the crown. In the morning of yesterday Winds of change had passed my way Led me to my good old home Made me feel, a new man born Great king rat had flown away Morning train had led him south To a life unknown to us Started working, built a home Took a wife and brought a son. Home, sweet home where have you been What made me lose had made me win From now I’ll be here to the end Home, wife, son and work the land.

Silent Moments of Devotion Like the blossoming, like the air so fresh From the sunrise light, a bloom of crystal rise Into the ocean, round the caution, is it seduction? In and out, to feel though it’s all that’s real As if an electric flare, a shivering excitement thrill Down from the toes up to the edge of conscience A silent engagement in and out the soul through the body’s wall And they’re the moments of devotion, silent treasure, never lingers Indoor delight, so tight though so wide A minute wider than ocean, measured like a mini infinity Into the eyes, to see while we’re blind Silent moments of devotion, right into your day Lighting all around us, explaining what was wrong A perfect answer, an illusion, mysterious way And is it gone or still it lingers? I just really can’t recall And friends to tell you lies, and children who as k not why In every minute there’s a war in a world that seems to explode Into the ocean, round the caution, is it seduction? Marching to the end, but won’t you stop just to feel There’s something more than hate and fear It’s more than love, another thrill Down from the toes up to the edge of conscience A silent engagement in and out the soul through the body’s wall And they’re the moments of devotion, silent truth, an inner ocean Riding the skies, flying with your eyes The knowledge brings an understanding; you feel you always knew the answers And then you’re amazed; you know what to say Silent moments of devotion, brightness lighting your way And though I can’t see it I can feel it with my thoughts In a world of hate there’s an illusion, a truth of the beyond Unmeasured by the time though treasured by the mind

Gallows Bird 08:10
Gallows Bird From the window I was looking out to the world Thinking how it could have been if I was a bird Could have sailed the skies be free and not in a jail. Then I remembered all the things I left on the line I remembered you and me; we were walking in the sun. And all the trees were in blossom, as they never did before. You’ll remember me not forgetting you and cry and I’ll say… These days had passed away and they will never come again Today I’m locked behind the doors and walls that crossed my way I’ll be the man I choose to be, yes, nothing will make me stay. You’ll remember me not forgetting you and cry and I’ll say… Every day that passes away it seems that you will never come out Every minute passing leaves you thinking no one knows about But you begin to realize that if you’ll break you’ll lose all rights Comes tomorrow need to pass another day, you want to shout. And on and on the days are crawling, you feel there is something in the air Sometimes you feel your end is coming, sometimes freedom is your share But if you will be strong you will survive from all the fights Comes tomorrow don’t want to believe it but you’re out. And now I have the time to work on what I wish to be And now I have the time to walk with you near willow trees My hard days are gone and they will never come again. Just like a bird I was in a cage for a very long, long time But when I had the chance to escape I did not forget to fly I spread my wings and gone away and never came around. You’ll remember me not forgetting you and cry and I’ll say…

Touch You With My Thoughts Then she ran and left me here With her perfume lingers on my shirt And did she run or just she left I really do not know And now I think of her And now I dream of her And will she come back? Dare she not To see her every minute I can feel her here I can touch her with my thoughts And can I love her? Do I love her? Now I hate her cause she left Since you ran away I feel what I could not Maybe I was blind And you were a kind of a light But now the light so hurts And I am blind again And can I trust you? I don’t trust you And here I’m gambling with my heart Yes, this time I will win And if I don’t I’ll run so far I never will come back again But I do trust you, cause I know you And what I know is not for words It’s just the things I see in you The way I touch you with my thoughts

about

Album II - Valley of no Return

Progressive Rock was developed mainly in the late 60s to the late 70s and mainly in England. The Bands I love, though not all of them are considered Progressive Rock, and that inspired me the most are: Led Zeppelin, YES, Jethro Tull, Genesis, ELP, King Crimson, Renaissance, Gentle Giant, UK, Mahavishnu Orchestra and many more.
Until today it’s considered a sub genre of Rock though it contains elements of classical, folk, jazz, rock and blues music.
By many, Progressive Rock sounds too pompous, complicated, arrogant or detached but to me it’s the pinnacle of modern music.
I’ve been creating different types of music throughout my life but Progressive Rock will always have the warmest corner in my heart for the beauty of the compositions, the amazing arrangements of the best musicians in the world and the vast colors of sound and musical experience it creates.

My second album: ‘Valley of no Return’ is a continuation of Album I. The songs are the next I composed and wrote lyrics to, around 1984-1986. These recordings keep the essence of the songs as originally composed. The changes in bar counts and tempo were not forced into the songs but came to me naturally. Only later in life I analyzed what I did and tried to keep this in the recordings.
I appreciate lyrics that are deep and illusive but eventually the meaning is, after all, in the eyes of the beholder.

‘Crazy Horses’ was mixed with added keyboards on the original demo of acoustic guitar and vocals which I decided to keep as is. It feels like the right song to start the adventure.

Entering more and more into the realm of progressive rock ‘Valley of no Return’ was my first progressive creation. The lyrics are talking about a mystic valley where unknown riders are entering. The Valley is The Music and the riders are musicians entering into the world of music. The more I got into the valley the more I wanted to explore and experience. Songs like: ‘One Step Beyond’; ‘Great King Rat’ and ‘Touch You With My Thoughts’ continue my exploration of progressive rock, at least the way I see it. ‘Valley of no Return’ has many parts with changing tempos and a lot of instrumental exploration.

‘Viking’ - Recorded originally in 1985 by the band’s keyboard player - Amir Kertes, who passed away and by me. I recorded this new version with minor changes in structure, with a classical guitar. I dedicate this song to my dear friend Amir Kertes, so dearly missed.

‘One Step Beyond’ is one of my nicest progressive creations. With a medieval touch to it the song develops into parts of 4/4 and ¾ and then into a rock fusion of 7/8 leading back into the song with a grand finale of guitar solo.

‘Temples of Light’ is, to me, a very special song. The name of the song became the inspiration to the name of the band I started around 1984-1985: ‘Temples of Light Theatre’. The song has 4/4 and ¾ parts mixed together. The acoustic guitar parts create a medieval atmosphere and the song develops into full blast at the end. This is one of my favorite songs, still. The song was part of the live show.

‘Rattle The Snake’ has a fusion feel to it. Took me a while to get the right feeling and groove into it. The middle part with all the guitar solos was real fun to record.

‘Great King Rat’ has a magical instrumental middle part, which transforms the song into a progressive creation. With a very similar structure it was performed live by the band.

‘Silent Moments of Devotion’ is an exercise in mathematical and musical motives entangled in each other. The song has 4/4 and 7/4 parts and the melodies float and develop from one part to the next. The song was part of the live show.

‘Gallows Bird’ is embedded in the realm of Folk and Blues. With different parts and rhythms it is more s progressive song then a Blues song. The Organ and Electric guitar solos are a newer adds on to the original song.

‘Touch You With My Thoughts’ is a later composition then the other songs and, as described by a friend, opened a new path in my musical experience. I can’t remember if I wrote the lyrics or the music first and the middle part only resembles the original way we played it live but, in essence, the song came out as I imagined it in the first place. The song talks about the first time I felt missing someone that I love.
